Y would they i tought DC was still big in Japan even the SNES is still popular in Japan..they just stoped making both the Famicom and the SuperFamicom like two months ago...:? You can't connect a 56k modem through a broadband connection. If you are using DSL, you must disconnect your DSL modem and plug the Dreamcast modem's cable into the phone line. If you are using cable or other broadband servicee, you need a BBA to connect your Dreamcast directly to the cable/dsl/lan...

well tryed his way and it wouldnt work on both win98se and win2kpro (I have both on my comp) is it possible to connect via a coders cable because i have one on its way from lik-sang other wise im probably gonna bite the bullet and get a BBA for $100 or whatever there going for now on ebay...btw quet...

one thing i dont like about fear effect is that the backgrounds arnt even remotly similar to the characters unlike JSR/JGR where the whole game has that reading a comic book fibe to it i remember one of the adds for Fear Effect was "They put the Ass in Assassin" or somthing ot that effect....

Id like to setup a proxy server on my computer so I can access the internet thru that (I have Cable on my computer) but I dont have a BBA yet and I was wondering if it would be reasonably fast and if there were any programs that will make it easier to setup. I have Win 98SE btw

and if all else fails copie all ure data to another card and format the VMU i have to do that from time to time because the max data storage starts droping.

man i like the arcade feel better than on the dc but i love them both none the less

so hold up...ive been told that Mugen on DC was impossible because the DC didnt have enough RAM to run it but what ure saying is that with a coders cable i could transfer mugen to my DC after i have linux is up via Kermit and the coders cable...correct me if im wrong

as would i because ive tryed the current release and it dies after a while of trying to boot...but i also did convert the CDI to an NRG so that might have messed it up.

probably not...from what i hear it lags a lot at the beginning DC Movie Player works perfectly on everything that i have thrown at it so far tho id say give that a shot but try dcdivx too
