i am using a third party joypad off ebay, but it works fine for everything else........just weird how it works on the same disc up until the point where you play the game. ill try the port 3 and 4 to see if it works. thanks for quick reply!

I can get into the games just fine and get them to load. but once i get to the title screens the controller doesnt work, i cant push start to play the game. any pointers?

well i guess theres no helping me. i burned it in discjuggler under the same specs you recommend, and it wont boot. the dreamcast sounds like a chainsaw trying to read it. i'm only using about 2 games just for test, i dont know if that's effecting it, but i'm about ready to give up on this

well i've burned the image on cd-r now, and the number on the bottom of my dreamcast is a 0. i'm burning on sony discs straight out of alcoho120. still it wont boot and it takes me to a cd playing screen which shows me 2 tracks. please someone help me i've followed the instructions to a t and havent...

i think i found the problem and this should put in the tutorial for noobtards like myself: Check on your DC to see if it has circle with a "0 or 1" next ot your PAL or NTSC symbol on it. if it does it will read burnt cd's. if there is a 2, your dreamcast wont support cd-r's you cannot use ...

i've been going throught the forums today and found a few people that said any dc made before december 2000 should be okay since mine came out in may of 99. i also found a bunch of people saying you cant use cd-rw's, only cd-r's. if so that could be my main problem!! ugh now i feel real noobish, but...
