Yeah, I think that model in particular can be troublesome. But you can try installing the DiscJuggler demo and burn images that way, you might have better luck.

just off the top of my head: ss_teven (SMSPlus, DarcDC) is from Australia. Marcus Comstedt (DreamSNES, NetBSD for Dreamcast) is from Sweden. I thought I remembered Regex being from Canada but I'm not sure of that. Gonzo (DColem, OddDC) is from Austria Takayama Fumihiko's (NesterDC) email address has...

So it does.. but that doesn't mean it can't be on another system eventually. Like Halo, which is only for X-Box... until it comes out on the PC.

How does the CD ripping work on XBox? I know it's possible to play your own tracks on M:SR 2 and THPS3... but what's the performance like? Since I don't have any games that let you choose your own music (a feature missing from JSRF), I haven't tested that yet. But I have ripped a couple CD's onto t...

It's rich and buttery. Folks, this is why I got an XBox to begin with (although Halo tided me over nicely) and I don't regret the choice. The gameplay is like the original JSR, except that (nearly) everything that was an irritation in the original has been fixed. Examples: -No more getting stuck in ...

I'm more interested in Contra for GBA, which will likely play like the original.

Sequels of 8 and 16 games for modern systems have this irritating habit of being nothing like the originals except for the series name and a few token references.

It IS a pain when people have special orders, especially when its really busy. It is even worse when there is 4 people all on the same order and you have to punch in 15 different things between all there orders. And you want to talk about wasteful when there is a special order they have to make a n...

Beta ROMs

All i want is a game that was not ever commercially released and therofre is taking no money from the developers - sonic 2 beta etc. were allowed on the site of PD-ROMs and there legal thingy states that they are perfectly within the law to host such ROMs :p Whoever said that was mistaken... if the...

Everyone should work fastfood at least once!

I was at Taco Bell today and got behind some jack-ass that took 5 min to place his order. The moron walks in and rushes up to the counter then he stands there asking WHAT DOES THIS HAVE ON IT, WHAT DOES THAT HAVE ON IT? Then he starts adding up what it will cost in his head, etc. The meantime there...

My guess (and this is not the authorative answer of course) is that we'll see light gun support in NesterDC when KOS's new maple driver is completed - in it's current form I don't think it would be able to read the light gun position without major reworking.

The first Dreamcast memory card I got was an Innovation brand. It was half price.. that should have tipped me off there. It ate my Soul Reaver save in the first two days of use. I threw it out (no point giving it away), and bought a genuine Sega VMU. Always works for me. Though I have used Dragon br...

Yes, the VMU's are way, way too small. In fact, they are the same size as a playstation 1 memory card: 128 kilobytes (this is why Bleem has to have its own memory card and why the bleems can share them - it just reformats the VMU as if it were a PSX card). Each 'block' in a VMU is 512 bytes, whereas...

Yep, there won't be a spoken English version of Shenmue II until the XBox version comes out. It doesn't take long to get used to the subtitles, though, and I think I'm starting to pick up a bit of Japanese. Maybe after I play through the first time I'll play through again with a Japanese <-> English...
