Game of the Year 2007: your choices

2007 came and went, and theres no doubt we came across many many many great games last year. What would you consider to be your personal GotY? I think mine would be hands down Rock Band. I was always a GH fanboy but Rock Band just did everything better than the GH series. Everything. The music selec...

Re: About time. hd format war pretty much over, warner goes blu

Oh man, I probably shouldn't have bought that xbox 360 HD DVD add-on two weeks ago  At the time it was a good deal though, the prices are what swayed me to HD DVD. I got the thing for $149 plus 6 free HD DVD movies! Six! The thing practically paid for itself, and I bought 5 more at $19.99 each....

Re: Obligatory Boxing Day topic

that offer wasn't available here unfortunately. They had the option to include an 80gb PS3 with my TV package but i would only save like 50 bucks so we passed.

Boxing day sales weren't any better. The 40GB PS3 was full price, the 80GB PS3 was only 30 bucks off.

Re: POST WHAT U GOT FOR CHRISTMAS!!

This year my family decided to do one of those "family gift" type things. We all chipped in and bought a 1080p 40" Sony Bravia HDTV and a Sony 5.1 dolby digital audio system + 5 disc DVD player. We mounted it on the wall in the basement we just finished and ran all wires in the walls ...

Re: TVersity is great.

For some reason whenever I run TVersity it slowly begins to take up more and more ram, eventually more than a 1 and a half Gigabytes all by itself, which in turn begins to slow my PC down. I couldn't figure out why, I had to uninstall it. It worked well when I was streaming though, very easy to use.

but comparing the way the keys feel, the build quality, and the pressure/spring mechanisms the Logitech fails miserably. Hell no this is the sturdiest and most comfy keyboard I've ever used. The feedback on the keys is excellent and its built like a rock, and the backlit keys make typing in the dar...

The combat reminds me of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter the most. The cover mechanics, the squad orders, etc. But once you throw in the special powers it becomes a whole new ballgame.

Re: Obligatory Black Friday Thread

I crossed the border and spent some time in upstate New York on the weekend. There were a decent amount of deals but I was saving my cash for Rock Band, which was sold out EVERYWHERE. So I ended up with nothing after a day of searching, but on the way back I got an Apollo Creed action figure for lik...
