Anyone Know any FREE Fax Websites?

I need to send some Faxes, but I cant find a free web Fax solution??

eFax used to do it when i first signed up years ago, but they charge now! wich is a pisser..

any ideas anyone??

I'd love to help but I thought fax was pretty much dead and buried. Scanner and e-mail is the way to go.

There is probably free fax software. I've faxed from my dad's computer many times, but I don't know if he had to pay for the software.

Umm, plenty of people still use fax. My dad faxes stuff for his business all the time.

Why would scanner and email be the way to go? Fax gives you a copy of the paper right there with a cheap fax machine, while email requires a more-expensive computer and someone who knows how to operate it.

Maybe computer faxing is annoying... then I'd agree. But fax machine to fax machine is not.

I dunno if there is a kind of... like VoIP proggy for broadband, but over regular modems you can send faxes... I used to all the time on my old Hayes 33.6

WIndows 95, and 98, both had fax utilities that could send to real fax machines. My uncle got it working on 95, but 98 required a lot more work, and I never bothered with it again.
