Neat! I love these topdown racers. There are few Megadrive games ive played more than "Combat Cars" and "Micro Machines". I hope it will have four player support.

I remember an old Dos game that looked like this, which was highly addicting. I think it was this game called Superspeed.
You feel at ease as you flock with the masses,
What do you see with your heads in their asses?
Keep on railing at what I believe,
Call me insane and I am proud to be.

Roel mentioned on their forums that it's possibly finished this summer.Grimlock wrote:Anybody know when this will presumably be released?
Problem is they've been working on AotB since years and probably needed a break from working on it. I imagine that coding AotB's engine is about 90% done anyway and they're working on graphics and sound atm. So I doubt that R4 is taking much of the time they would have spend on AotB.DaMadFiddler wrote:What I'm looking forward to is Age of the Beast.

A news post and forum topic from Senile Team announces more new screen shots for Rush Rush Rally Racing, showing a car selection screen as well as multiplayer and more! Here's the news post from their forums:
They are nonetheless very impressive! The three-player mode seems as though each player gets their own vertical "tate" display, as with the popular scroll shooting genre. I'm sure that is the best way to utilize the screen (especially in widescreen), while I imagine that four-player will utilize the screen in a familiar fashion to those with multiplayer N64 and Dreamcast games.Roel of Senile Team wrote wrote:And here we are again. More screenshots, including some of the multiplayer mode.
This mode is still under development, though. These screenshots may not reflect the final product.
The cars have headlights.
(Driving when it's dark is tough, headlights or not... but it does have a particular feel, not to mention look really cool.)
They also have a cow! Moo.
