I played a game like this on an old DOS game I have called "The Secret Island of Doctor Quandry". It was a collection of puzzles. Each puzzle you beat, you get an item, and at the end you put all the items into a pot and you escape from the island. This puzzle was on there. I've beat it before, it's not impossible.

Yeah, I remember the name of the game that was like this - Disc Away. There were 4 rows of CDs that had horrible music, and you had to make it so the computer gets the last disc of crappy music to win. Then you were given the CD as one of the items and were allowed to move on.LiL Tommy000 wrote:we had that at my grade school, that game was hard|darc| wrote:I played a game like this on an old DOS game I have called "The Secret Island of Doctor Quandry". If you think laterally, it is actually possible to win it really easily. Open two windows, in one you play first, in another you play second. You copy his moves in each window. You are guaranteed to win!
This trick also works with chess - you claim that you can play any number of people and be guaranteed to win half the games (not including stalemates), by simply playing other peoples moves against other people, if you see what I mean
