that and also the episode was speaking about how the catholics got the network to pull the episode "bloody mary", thats what cartman was speaking of. and of course the cartoon in denmark. But yes the earlier episodes of Family guy at least had their jokes with something to do with the episode. now its just randomly pop culture jokes that are from no where.

I haven't laughed so hard at South Park in awhile as I had at the past two episodes. Simply brilliant.

I think they also made a point with the guy in the truck. Sometimes random jokes one after another is entertaining, and at least it's not all preachy and up it's own ass.

Yeah. I never once thought that Family Guy was deep, but they have a good formula for laughs and I enjoy watching it.

Anybody remember back when I had my thread about which is better Family Guy or Futurama and I said Futurama. Then I went on to say Family Guy got old because of all of the "Remember that time when I..." jokes?

I loved the family guy writers!

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, did Comedy Central really decide to censor the image or was that just part of the show?

I've found out it wasn't, they actually did censor that part, but it was ok to show the part at the end.

Family Guy has its moments for me. There's some episodes that are hysterical the whole way through, and some that are just pathetic. And it's mostly the random jokes that make me laugh, so it's like they pick which episodes that are gonna suck ahead of time.

South Park however, especially the last couple of seasons, has had me laughing on pretty much every episode.

I was actually surprised (and somewhat dismayed) by how dead-on the SP parody was.

I really don't think it was about Family Guy at all. If anything, it was a truce with Family Guy, because Stan and Kyle both watch and enjoy the show.
I think the real issue was censorship, and the fact that Comedy Central did choose to censor the episode, not to mention pull two episodes from the rotation is a chilling thought.

Not to mention the people in the episode who said that "at least it hasn't gone all preachy and up it's own ass".
