gamecube controller question
hi guys, got a question for you
im thinking of buying a wavebird, but i cant find any for a decent price over here, but i can import one for half the price from canada, now with me having a pal system, do i have any risk of the canadian wavebird not working in my pal system?
just wanting to make sure

hehe i wouldnt know about that i doubt we got as much pine scent over here
anyway, i figure it should work allright, just asking to be sure
im a tad peeved about the pal/ntsc thing though, the site i use is cheap as fuck compared to here, so i would love to get some games, but i dont feel like getting an import cube or using a freeloader

Re: gamecube controller question
Canada is NTSC also. So as long as NTSC works with a PAL GC system, you are fine.Disheveled DrFreeze wrote:hi guys, got a question for you

i also have a hori snes style GC pad which obviously was a japanese import which also works

Have you ever used a Logitech wireless controller? The Xbox one is infinitely better than the official controller. And the PS2 one is the greatest controller ever created.Vlame wrote:Official > * All other brandsmelancholy wrote:Dude, if the Logitech Wireless PS2 controllers can pull off 30 hours with rumble, the Wavebird should easily be able to as well.

Japanese PS2 Controllers totally don't work like that.milfzor wrote:controllers are much like USB ports, that's the best way to look at it..as long as the device fits physically (which it should) then it will work....

I don't play my Gamecube a whole lot, but in the long time I've had the thing (4 years or so? jeez, it's been a while...) I've replaced the batteries twice. The first time, they weren't dead, but I needed batteries for another device and I just put new batteries into the Wavebird when I got more. The other time, it was getting laggy playing Super Smash Bros., but it wasn't dead yet.Evil_Ernie wrote:i'v had my wavebird for over a year and a half now and i'm still playing with the battery's that came with it and i do play lots with it, hell i'm starting to think they recharge themselves when i'm not looking lmao...
It's thinking...

If it wasn't for the fact that the Logitech Wireless Xbox controller requires you to push incredibly hard on the buttons -- making it hard as hell to acclimate to for say, Halo 2 -- I'd agree with you. In essence, the Xbox 360 Wireless Pad is almost identical in form to the Logitech pad for the original Xbox, except you don't have to drill on the buttons.melancholy wrote:Have you ever used a Logitech wireless controller? The PS2 Logitech Wireless pad (the original; not the cheap re-release) shits all over the Dual Shock.
And, by the way Vlame, all Logitech products for PS2/Xbox are officially licensed peripherals.
Very sexy hero, omg
