Great-grandmother died last night
She was 99. I've met her about 10 times in my life. The Kansas-side of the family wants to fly me out with my family to the middle of nowhere (pop. 33) so I can be a pallbearer. I have to work so I said no and now I feel pretty bad, but I mean, I barely knew her.

Dude you should go if you can get off work. I understand you barely know her but people that old are like legacies in families. Also it will give you a nice chance to see another part of the country and I'm sure there will be a boatload of great food.
I have been to funerals before for people I barely knew so I do understand where your comming from. It is a little awkward but funerals don't last that long. Just a few hours.

My one grandfather died 15 years before I was born. It sucks.Ross L. wrote:I never got to meet my great-grandmas. Before I started remembering things, they passed away...
How to be a Conservative:
You have to believe everything that has ever gone wrong in the history of your country was due to Liberals.

It might have been different if they hadn't asked me to be pallbearer.JuddWack wrote:Dude you should go if you can get off work.
