Somewhat OT: ESPN NFL2k5
I realize this is somewhat outside of the dreamcast realm but I thought id try to ask anyways.
As you may already know, EA sports has bought out the rights to be the exlusive makers of any NFL football games from now on.
So their is no more 2K games from sega as far as NFL goes.
My question is, does anyone know if they are going to continue to update their rosters via online downloads? Cause I don't want to buy Madden but I want the rosters updated.

I dont really care about the roster thing. But due to the stupid madden / NFL deal, this is what i own:
NFL2K2(DC) NFL BLITZ 2001(DC) , NFL FEVER 2004(XBOX) NFL2K3(XBOX) NFL2K5(XBOX), ESPN PRIMETIME 2002(PC) And i plan to buy blitz league, the new football game coming out.
I just started a new season on nfl2k3 and i am happy, i never was a madden fan, so i am good until the deal runs out.
You should just go out and buy the football games that i listed and have.

these might help you if the game doesn't update the rosters itself
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox/save/920177.html
you will need a way to get the save to your harddrive though (obviously)
an action replay, a modded xbox with ftp support, or just a usb adaptor to connect your pc and xbox controller will work.

First of all, I like your name. Reminds me of great 90's WWF wrestling. . Secondly, they inked a 5 year deal. I believe it may be terminated sooner than that though...Repoman23 wrote:Yea I know believe me im not buying anything from EA period.
When does this gay deal run out?
The thing is i think 2k5 is like the perfect game so I don't need any other ones just new rosters.
For links to new rosters you can try http://www.2ksports.com and go into the forum section. Also, try http://forums.operationsports.com/vBull ... _index.php

Same with me, except my last one was NFL 2K1. I don't care who makes the games - why should I? I would play games developed my my grandmother, if they were enjoyable. All that really matters is that you enjoy the game. I don't understand how you (not directed at Nick) can bash Madden 2006, and yet you have not played it...Nick wrote:omg ea is teh gay die ea f@gz
I bought Madden 2006 this year; first football game I've bought at/around release since Madden 2001. I support teh evil.

EA's deal goes against everything that the free market is based on. Without the competition there is not need to try any harder. They have something the addicts want, and there's nothing you can do about.
But really, how many football games can you have? Save $30 and go buy last years version, I'm sure it's just as good.
