I really like it but i'm not sure if it will run burned VCD's however. Has anyone gotten this yet? If you have could you tell me if it runs VCDs?

I would think it would don't VCD's have little to no copy protection on them? I think that is the main reason you don't ever see VCD's for sale in America (at least I never have)

Thats because there is a difference with the newer versions of VCD players, and the way the movie is coded. Older VCD players, like mine have no problem with reading standard encoded vcd's, but new players wont read it. There is a tool called "ULEAD DVD Workshop" that will encode VCD's for compatibility with newer players.....

Now, would those VCDplayers be better then DreamVCD, cause that was horrid, it was more like a slideshow then a movie player.....plus the audio tracks would constantly go off.

My karaoke-superstar wannabe gf bought a 3 disk changer vcd/karaoke player before I got around to trying any of the dreamcast vcd players......lucky me... :roll:

roughly 50+ minutes X 3 of near-dvd quality vcd movie with my machine. :P

well dure, of course it plays burtn vcd's.

it said mp3, so how to you obtain a mp3 disk?

you burn it.

so there by cd-r compatible.

thuse making it playable of burnt vcd.

:o I just ordered DreamVCD from Lik-Sang someone told me it plays VCD's smooth. :?:

I believe DreamVCD is a homebrew one or something. You got DreamMovie off of Lik Sang, and yes, it plays VCDs amazingly well, almost up to XVCD standards.

Ah ok, whew! Yah it's DreamMovie I got from Lik-Sang! :D
