Pay as much as you want. Get five games. Help charity.

Post by Stormwatch »

A kickass pack of FIVE great indie games:

Image
The famous goo ball puzzle game.

Image
Adventuring at the bottom of the sea.

Image
A game of platforming and tar.

Image
Bunnies and ultraviolence.

Image
Surrealistic horror, realistic physics.

Image
All of them are multiplataform: Windows, Macintosh, and Linux.

The price? Here's the cool part. You pay as much as you want! But don't be too tight-handed now, because a part is going to charity. And it's not one of those nasty tricks, "get this product for a hundred bux and the orphans get ten cents". No, this time you get to pick exactly how much of your money goes to the developers and how much goes to these important organizations:

Image Image
Child's Play, who sends games, toys, and books to sick children in hospitals around the world; and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, who fights for your privacy and freedom of speech on the internet.

Just threw them $6, all to charity. I'd give more, but I'm really broke at the moment and can't afford more.

Second. I've had it on my Wii for about a year now, and it's pretty addictive. I've heard good things about Aquaria, too.

Oh man, I forgot about Aquaria. I wish this was going on next week, because I'd give them $20 once I got paid.

They've added another game to the bundle called Samorost 2. If you've already bought the bundle, you should get an email with a link to the game.
Dear Humble Bundle supporter,

I have a small announcement you might be interested in. This morning, I was talking to fellow indie studio Amanita Design. They wanted to donate to the Humble Indie Bundle too -- but in a unique way. They decided to donate their award-winning, cross-platform game, Samorost 2, to the bundle! It is really a great game, and I encourage you to go download it on your updated Humble Bundle key page.

Here is your unique key URL so you don't have to look it up:

Please consider telling your friends about this awesome new contribution to the Humble Bundle!

The response to this bundle has been incredible! Take a look at the real-time statistics box next time you are on the page. I am truly... humbled.

Another deal: if you get this bundle, you can get the full Penumbra Collection (usually $20) for $5.

I don't know if this is confirmed officially, but supposedly if they hit $1M total contribution, they'll release the source code of Penumbra Overture, Gish, and Lugaru. This is on the page shown in the promo video, but not on the page itself. Someone posted about it in the Wolfire forum, but it doesn't seem to be solidly confirmed/denied yet.
