Hundred Swords Translation Project

Post by Christuserloeser »

We are a little late on this one, but it seems that there's a translation project for the Dreamcast version of Hundred Swords going:

NibelheimPromise posted the following at OnlineConsoles.com:

I went ahead and created my first ever Hundred Swords-exclusive fan site. The site (for the most part) is 100% complete, with the exception of the Translation and some various media sections. However, the translation that I have done thus far is up for download. [...]

As I mentioned on the website itself, I will be taking on this project from a casual standpoint, therefore, I won't be revolving my life around getting this translation completed in a timely fashion. [...]

Nevertheless, I just wanted to get the information out there so any of you who are interested in playing through the game can now. With that said, here's the link to the site if any of you are interested.

Since April this year, chapter 2 and half of 3 are up for download as an .rtf file.

fucking sweet! These projects will keep people booting up their dreamcasts if they end up seeing the light of day.

So far I remember someone doing
Segagaga
some resident evil style game
Space channel 5 pt 2 (dead?)

would love if these stay afloat.

Space Channel 5 Part 2 is most definitely dead. However, back in 2007, NU-NRG released a hack of SC5 Part 2 that features the English Audio & Video from the PS2 port.

Cool, this is good news indeed.
BTW - Does anyone know if there were ever any decent RTS games released for the dreamcast? NTSC, PAL or otherwise?
