I have decided to just wait for a good genesis emulator. I know that DCGEN is the only legal one out at the time, and i heard it is being worked on again by the makers. what is the status of this eumlator, is it "playable" yet. I was glad to see on the first release that it could run the games, but I would like something to play the games on(i did play all hte way through ecco the dolphin on it,lol). has DCGEN been updated very much, I dont really see news on it. And are there any other genesis emu out in the works?

I think the project was cancelled but has since been brought back.

DCGen is again being worked on by ATani. I wouldnt hold your breath for a release but then again it could be any time. Im just glad that he is working on it again

i'm using a emu on dc called CERTAIN ,it's perfect , game can be saved on VMS

I've never heard it by that name, but you have fun with your certain illegal emulator.

obsidan is another genesis emu its pretty good but some people say its illegal but its like dcgen but better.....but very hard 2 find my friend has it but he won't burn it for me

..... damn!

anyway is obsidan illegal or not

Segagen was ripped from a commercial product that is still being sold, therefore it is illegal and immoral to discuss it. Also, Sega themselves asked to remove Segagen from DCEmu.
