OK!
I've finished my demo of my MOD named V.O.R.
It's not as complete as i like (too much "real live" work now) but is fun enough to play it!
I don't have a Dreamcast (

) so i don't know if it will run fine in Dream. If anyone tries tell me.
Please if anyone can host this file will help a lot (and maybe someone can make a nice .cdi image autobootable for Dream).
There are 2 player characters (Kagetsura & Falcon) and 1 level (3 stages + boss).
I tell you... It's HARD as hell... you will hate Bad Dogs soon...

The level design is not final... and i need some nice Intro & present screens, new fonts, new sound for enemys etc, etc, etc... but... what the hell, it's the first DEMO.

Try it and tell me what do you think!!! Leave some coments about good and bad points of this MOD.

PD: And sorry for my bad english... i'm spanish

EDIT: By error i've spawned EARTHQUAKE (the Boss) at the end of level 2 too... so you can kill him twice (in level 2 and in level 3)

Hokutoy, Your mode is great, It's amazing work so far, you have a lot of talent. I can't wait to see more of this great mod.

all i can say is WHOA!!!! this just became my most highly anticipated BOR mod. if the rest of the game turns out like the first level, i think i'd cry. sweet work Hokutoy, keep it up.

The screen shots look really nice, where are the graphics from? I may burn a demo and try it out, but my lack of cds may prompt me otherwise, keep it up man.

Well i think it's worth a cd so burn it!

It's a demo but i make stages enough long to play.

Player characters Falcon & Kagetsura: Sengoku 3 (neo geo)
Bad Dogs: Poppy Samurai Shadown 4 (neo geo)
All enemys: Last Blade 2 (neo geo)
Scenario: Warriors of Fate (Cps1)

wow this looks like a classic in the making... your attention to detail is great!
i haven't downloaded the demo but i like what i see so far!

hopefully you have some killer music to accompany the action!

Actually i have less time to put in this project but it's not dead! I will finish it sooner or later !

About music, in demo 1 i use soundtrack from Naruto (anime) & some Samurai Shadow songs.

Try it! It's a demo with 3 large levels and it's nice to play!

Great to hear! I would be happy to see some more elements/characters of Sengoku3 in there because the orginal game would never get ported to DC and I don't own a NeoGeo

You really should buy a Dreamcast - They're cheap and there's so much nice stuff for it! Some very unique commercial games (cheap as hell too) and one of the best machines for homebrew. The emulation scene tries to keep up to PS2/Xbox too! You can even still play online. Give it a try

Anyway, I can't wait for the next Demo of Village of Rage!

This mod I like, nicely done!

All characters look and move very smoothly. I've gotta love the difficulty as its soooo hard but thats the challenge. Looking forward to your next release now.

I was taking a look at this game, when I found something: Falcon.

Can I make a question? I hope that this Falcon is not the Falcon I've made a long time ago for mugen. I know that many Mugen people came here just to make trouble, but this is not my intention.

I just want to know, because if it is...its a very bad act from you. Someone is making MB-02 (another char of mine) for BOR, but they asked my permission, since I've spend a lot of time ripping and editing that char.

the new guy is kind herb and i though he ripped those sprites himself.

KingHerb is taking over.

This is good, Animation is Very slick, Nice specials too, How anoying are the dogs tho Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

I got a suggestion tho, When you Kill the bosses it would be pretty cool if they got sliced in half or spurt blood everywhere like in Samurai Showdown, Dunno if its possible to do that but it would be good!

All sprites from VOR are ripped by me (ripp other people work take away part of the MOD FUN!

As vicviper say i discontinued the VOR MOD (real pain issues right now) but King herb takes the MOD so wait for real good things from he.

Of course. As i ever say, take any want you want from VOR or any of my chars... i only rip them! I really don't care...

well yes vor is now under the title dragons of rage, i am carrying on hokutoy's great work, the mod is coming along very nicely and dont know when it will be out but it will be worth the wait!
