Vids of Icarus in action!
I haven't checkup up on Icarus in a while, but earlier today I dropped into the forums for a quick nose around, and found links to videos of it in action. I had previously thought that the games were running unbearably slow - all the screenshots showed a little counter running at only a few frames per second, but these movies show them running at what can't be too far off full-speed. Worth a look.

i don't want to insult the programmers team of icarus, but in 1 year that they have been saying they can run this and that why haven't they release a beta or even alpha version of it just to show that they have something really working, if you look at the sword of beserk video it run pretty fast,i can dare to say it runs as fast as it does on dc. again why haven't they shown any proff of existance

It's not going to be publically released until the emulator runs full speed and the author is satisfied afaik.pepitonet wrote:i don't want to insult the programmers team of icarus, but in 1 year that they have been saying they can run this and that why haven't they release a beta or even alpha version of it just to show that they have something really working, if you look at the sword of beserk video it run pretty fast,i can dare to say it runs as fast as it does on dc. again why haven't they shown any proff of existance

and i was just looking around on the forums ( http://boob.co.uk/cgi-bin/ikonboard3/ik ... ct=SF;f=10
) and in a thread, or a couple of them, it sais that the release date for it isnt untill 2007. so im really not waiting/watching this anymore. would be cool if it was released, or made so you could only run homebrew on it....

In another topic, the author states that it's just a wild rumour, and that no release date has been set. I read it yesterday whilst nosing around for the vids.
