That's right, folks. Weekly World News, the ultimate checkout line time killer, will no longer be around to make us laugh at the heroics of Bat Boy, the wonders of Bigfoot's lovechild, or the science behind the Jesus clone army.ABC News wrote:For 28 years the nation turned to the pages of the Weekly World News for titillating tales of the bizarre and the wondrously wacky. Now the publication, headquartered in Florida, is closing its doors.

Personally I own a few copies of this magazine. I mean come on, The Loch Ness Monster captured by a small 8 ft fishing boat? Or what about the half human-half aligator? The people who wrote for this magazine have got to have some of the most creative minds to even come up with this stuff. I read the last one, it was a special edition/collectors magazine the had all the best stories in it. Also said something about being worth a lot of money on ebay in a few months.

In 1999, I believed the weekly world news, sadly enough. Now I mourne it's passing. The Sun is still around, though?

I believe he was talking about the U.S. tabloid, not the British newspaper.APE wrote:Much to darc's disdain yes.Egotistical EvilN wrote:In 1999, I believed the weekly world news, sadly enough. Now I mourne it's passing. The Sun is still around, though?
