more volume

How would I go about making something that could boost the volume on a phone headset with a switch to turn off the boost when I don't need it.

well you could build something like The Chu-Moy Mini Headphone Amplifier but with the mini phone headset jacks, that's all i can think of...

Yeah you'll need a small headphone amp. You can get kits or buy a ready made one quite cheap

all the ones i've seen for sale are like $40 at the cheapest, i tried to build one of those chu-moy ones, but it turned out to be a pain in the @$$ because of the schematic...
