Beats of Rage Collection Volume 2 Released
After some unexpected delays, DCEvolution.net finally brings you the ultimate Beats of Rage collection, featuring some of the finest mods the BoR world has to offer:
Beats of Rage Remix, Hatchet Ninjaz, Hyper Final Fight 1 & 2, Alien vs Predator, Dragons of Rage, Double Dragon Extreme & Rage of the Streets - the awesome work of modders like Mr.Q, Kingherb, Vision, AxelBlazeAdam and Hokutoy - all presented on one huge disc!
We've put a lot of work into this project and added small bugfixes and extra features to almost every mod in this compilation.
The games use the BoR game engine created by Senile Team, ported to DC by Neill Corlett and re-vamped by L@ Cible. That means full rumble support and 50Hz PAL / 60Hz NTSC selection.
Enjoy playing your favorite BoR mods again or discover what you've missed! More info and our currently biggest download weighing in at an incredible 500 MBytes compressed, can be found on our Beats of Rage Collection Volume 2 page.
Please post all feedback in the DreamZone forums.

Great stuff, I've tried only the Double Dragon mod so far, and it felt great, I'm going to try the other mods as well when I finally get the time for it. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu and everything, it looked great!
But one question: Does it automatically select 60Hz for pal? Or am I supposed to choose the NTSC versions of the game if I want 60Hz?

You feel at ease as you flock with the masses,
What do you see with your heads in their asses?
Keep on railing at what I believe,
Call me insane and I am proud to be.

There's 2 selections at the menu, PAL for 50Hz, NTSC for 60Hz, the BoR engine doesn't have the ability to automatically select the frequency so that's why we included both versions for each mod on the disc, it was the only way round giving you the choice - sorry about that.Cid Highwind wrote:Great stuff, I've tried only the Double Dragon mod so far, and it felt great, I'm going to try the other mods as well when I finally get the time for it. CybersoulX - I meant we are thinking about doing another collection... Not if we should use your mod or not
But if we do another collection then it would be cool to use the GP32 version of your mod with the downsized music.

If we do a third collection then it'll be part of itkungpow12345 wrote: Any chance of Nightmare on Ed Street making it on the 3rd Volume?
That'll most-likely be the casekungpow12345 wrote:probably by the time you guys make the 3rd version I'll already have 3 or so mods out.
OldSkoolGamer wrote:Excellent work, guys. I just beat Hatchet Ninjaz using this collection.
That makes the first time I've ever beaten Beats of Rage.
Nothing special until you've beaten the 'Very Violent' mode
Thanks. The rumble support was added by L@Cible some time ago and now is part of OpenBoR tooOldSkoolGamer wrote:Everything is very professional, and rumble support is a great addition.
