Halo NMP
So I have been reading a lot about this Halo NMP stuff. But I am still confused on how to get it to work on ur xbox. I konw you have to put halo on your xbox HD. but I dont really even know how to do that. I think i read you can do it without a chip and use an Actionreplay. even the FAQs I read confuse me,lol. Im a bit scared to make a post like this at Halomods.com cause ill probably get flammed. Anyone know much about this. cause i would love to play these new maps on XBconnect.

I'm quite interested by these, but I don't know anything about them. If anyone could shed some light on the subject, I'd really appreciate it.

I've found them, and have tried most of the new maps out. All the ones I've seen are based on Slayer. Some of them look a lot like it, others don't. There's some levels as large as the usual ones, and some that are a lot smaller. They seem to have messed with the cars so that you can shoot out of them, which is cool. But they also seem to have made them wildly uncontrollable in parts, which isn't so cool.
You get to do the flying things in multiplayer, which seems fun. They've added some new weapons like the rocket bullets. There's a level with a load of new jumps for the cars, and one full of twisting, turning tunnels to hide in.
There are few (mostly graphical) glitches here and there, but it's still good fun. If anybody wants to know more, feel free to PM me...

Unfortunately, I can't. The version that I found came with the necessary executables to run, so I didn't have to integrate it with my own copy.

It doesn't necessarily have to go on the hard drive, but some form of exploit will be required.
If Xbox Live is important, then you should probably get the PC version or go without .

You're going to need some means of running from the harddrive.
I was able to patch my NTSC copy with these:

In a nutshell it tricks the game into thinking people you are playing with over the internet are on a LAN, so it lets you play any game with LAN capabilities online for free.Sephiroth wrote:I've heard about XBconnect, but I don't know much more then it's name, what is it exactly, I hear it's a free version of live, or somthing like that.
