sorry, it isnt much of a post but i am just excited, from what i hear this game is very solid

Very good game. I would play it again sometime, if I had the time.

Dunno if I'd play 1 or 2, though. 1 is in english, but has bad voice overs. But the game itself is very very good. 2, on the other hand, is all in japanese, but the voice overs are very good. The game itself, again, is very very good. Decisions decisions!

Play both. But I would say Shenmue 2 is more interesting, especially since the locations change more and their bigger. But you can't play 2 with out playing 1

The PAL version of Shenmue 2 has english subtitles, that is what they should have done with the first part instead of dubbing it in english.
Shenmue 3 will probably never come out

Heh Duke Nukem Forever. First it was using Quake II, then Unreal, then Unreal Tournament... I assume it still is, and now if it ever gets released it will be woefully behind the times.
