VMU Saving now works
Keyboard and mouse support
Minor bugfixes all over the place Download it from

I've only got a couple more features that were in the DOS version of Doom that I've got to add in before I can start adding lots of brand new features. Stay tuned...

Wow, if only I was not working doubles so much recently. :/
Guess I'll be able to check it this week end, can't wait, alas SAVE SUPPORT, not to mention the keyboard and mouse have paid off!

What the? It works perfectly on my DC, and I don't think I've changed the video code at all.
Any more info on what's wrong with the thing? What happens if you start pressing buttons (any sounds, disc loading, music changes)?

Yeah - I had a couple of free hours before an exam a couple of days ago, so I worked on this for a bit.
I'm not sure if I completely got the VMU saving bug - I can't really trace it and I can't get it to happen very often (at least, not when I want it too), so it might still be lurking. At least this version WILL save the game, but it might be placed in slot 7 for some inexplicable reason. I think that GCC is going crazy again. Maybe the new menu system will fix it?
