First Rez, then Ikaruga, now this.
I don't want a 360. I have a PS3 *and* a Wii. But I want these games.

GREAT Game...Ive always wondered when a publisher releases a game either through emulation or whatever, does that in turn decrease the value of the original game?
why does the wii not get any love as far as good releases for the wiiware?

So glad to see some more info on this. I have never gotten to play this game before, only watched videos. Regardless looks great.
I haven't tried saturn emulation in years, but last I tried it was in a piss poor state (while dreamcast emulation was making good progress.) I always figured the Japanese would have pushed out a good emu for it since they can truly appreciate its full library.

If you're talking about Sega Saturn emulation for the PC, then I can tell you it's come a long way. It's actually very good now; I was quite impressed.Nico0020 wrote:So glad to see some more info on this. I have never gotten to play this game before, only watched videos. Regardless looks great.

Re: Radiant Silvergun to XBLA with Saturn & Arcade Modes
I've played Radiant Silvergun exactly twice.
The first time was on a PC emulator around 2002. None of the emulators had hardware acceleration for the video at that point, so even on my then-awesome 1.8GHz P4 with a Radeon 9000, it ran like garbage.
The second time was on an actual Saturn, at the Classic Gaming Expo in 2004. It was one of the many, many games that had been set up for public demonstration. That's also where I first heard 8-Bit Weapon.

I just gave the Saturn emulator SSF a try for the first time in years a couple of days ago. And let me tell you, that emulator has progressed to the point where nearly everything runs perfectly. I was beyond impressed.

Its been years since I attempted Saturn emulation, it was so bad that I figured it would be an incredibly long time before an emulator with respectable speed would happen. Im surprised to hear its up to full speed already.

I remember emulating Saturn games full speed at high-res like 5 years ago or so, I think it was some kind of hacked commercial emulator, girigiri or something.
