Well don't do that. Just burn them as plain files using Selfboot Buddy (whose linky escapes me)

You're unclear on which disc - the NesterDC image disc or the game disc - you tried to do this on but in either event I don't think it will work. The NesterDC image has two sessions, and the second one is closed, so you can't even make a third session (I think - sessions get confusing). As for the g...

As per the Bleem site now, the trick is not to search for "bleem", it's to search for "bleem*", since they called bcGT2 "bleem! for Dreamcast - Gran Turismo 2" and the other two "bleemcast! for...", probably a bug related to the usage of an exclamation point i...

Here's my old suggestion for making all 3 Bleemed PSX games syncronous with your Bleemcast discs: Alright, so I finally got a copy of MGS last night. Bleem kicks ass. This game kicks ass. And to think I never picked it up because I was partial to Zelda (I still am, but I'm more enlightened now. So I...

I'll field this one. There were three Bleemcast discs: Bleemcast for 1. Gran Turismo 2 2. Metal Gear Solid 3. Tekken 3 These ran on the Dreamcast The original idea was for a disc that played 100 games and four of these were to be released, but this proved impossible to implement and playtest. Back i...

Erm, I've never actually messed with QuakeDC so I'm not sure but I didn't realize it used WinCE (though I should have guessed). If I write a program for the DC which uses WinCE it's illegal for me to sell that DC program unless I'm a licensed developer of WinCE for the DC. However, I'm not sure how ...

Well let's be 100% clear on what "Warez", "released source" and what's legal here means. Quake was released in 1996, 5 years ago like you stated. In 1999, shortly after the release of Quake III: Arena , id hauled off and released the source code for Quake . Originally just a &quo...

I figured something might be up since we heard nothing concerning how well the recent packs went over. I was hoping it was a "coding lull" but alas. Here's some things about Joe Q. Public: 1. They've never written a line of code in their lives 2. They're fickle 3. They become extremely cri...

As an addendum I guess I should qualify the "PSX exclusive" statement with the "console" proviso. MGS is on the PC but it's not really meant to be played that way. Some games don't make sense without a controller on a couch with a TV, the same way some games don't make sense unle...

Most software stores have a policy that they won't exchange open software for anything other than an identical copy of what the product is. If it really is a defective copy of bcTK3 then take it back to EB and tell them you want to exchange it for a different copy of bcTK3. If what you say about som...

And when was the last time you emailed Bleem?

Perhaps the crackling is due to an unsuccessful attempt to bump up the sampling rate? Or perhaps it's due to the DC's lame sound chip. Question - has anyone noticed sound problems that didn't play the game extensively on the PSX? I've looked for the sound errors and I've never noticed any - but I ne...

Notice how Gran Turismo 2 is on BC and not Gran Turismo ? Notice how Tekken 3 is on but not Tekken or Tekken 2 ? Just because "Fabulous Game X" has more installments doesn't mean they should get the Bleem treatment (the WWF: Smackdown titles nonwithstanding, since they're basically identic...

Well this thread wasn't a "Make this game OR ELSE!!!" thread so I figured it was harmless. Expressing opinions is what makes these forums worth anything. But yeah, THPS 3 was shot down long ago, even in the (now missing) FAQ.

SSDD - EB clerks are habitually underinformed. EB is carrying it and if they aren't it's not because of Sony. It's because they haven't recieved a shipment yet, especiallyif they're foreign to America.

UPDATE: I just ran into the same saving problem as before, but I hadn't saved previously in the same session. However, the first save in this session and the second save in the previous session that was giving me crap was in the Tank Hangar - perhaps this is a bad location for saves?

It does indeed say 1.5 - the Beta was never polished up for release to the public, so the graphic stayed the same.

It has been reported that Bleemcast discs override the "stereo/mono" options set in the Dreamcast BIOS. It has to do with the proprietary reverse engineering they did to author their development software. Perhaps this cracking is related to that. Did you set your DC BIOS to mono or stereo?...
