Americans just don't get TV tax, that's why you've ended up with a bunch of networks producing TV people want to watch, rather than catering for small niches of 10 or less. Like right now, HBO can only get your money if they make something you like. With TV tax, they could get your money regardless, then use it to make a network just for Muslim immigrants. It's such a better system. Why stop there? Walmart could take a $100 grocery tax off your salary every month, then use that guaranteed income to start selling more risky groceries, like pickeled cock.
