Planning an epic road trip..

Post by MulletMan13 »

Next spring I am going to be going on a 4/5 week long road trip. Locations haven't yet been determined, but it will likely be around the border of the country. I'm curious if there are people on the board here would be willing to lend me a floor to sleep on for a night? I could pay a bit, but mainly I'd just be looking for a way to not sleep in my car, and I trust most of you guys. It's always interesting meeting people from the online world, especially after dealing with them for so long.

Anyone ever do a similar thing where they've stayed with somebody they've met online?

Thanks!

[and whatever you say now, I won't hold you to when this actually happens =) ]

Oh yes, and extra money goes to the person if they know any slutty women they could hook my friend and I up with-- especially if we end up staying at their home.

kthnx

If you really want to come to South Dakota, by all means. However, it is South Dakota. I live 50 miles off of I-90, which would be a good road to take to the west coast.

You could stay at my place in Baton Rouge if you ended up here. But chances are you'd want to crash in New Orleans if you made your way here, and I couldn't really guarantee you anything there. But it'd be cool to hang out. :)
It's thinking...

If you make your way into Canada, specifically the Southern Ontario Region, I've got some room for you to stay here for a couple days. I'm 15 minutes from Waterloo's industrial complex and universities (lots of women, and RIM), 45 minutes from Toronto (and ace, that sexy bastard), an hour away from three very gorgeous beaches (Sauble, Wasaga, Grand Bend, lots of women), two hours away from 6.9acres of land I have in Wiarton (which you may stay at w/ bed, food etc, good party time).

Only thing unattractive about my deal is:

A) I can't guarantee you/your friend getting laid, as Canadian women in general are stuck up
B) Both my roommate and I smoke, so the apartment will smell a bit like cig's

I'd offer, but you don't want to come to Indiana. I do live in a college town, though, so slutty women is a certain specialty. But that's all you'll find.

I don't understand how someone could possibly want to go on a road trip. A couple hours in a car are enough to make me sick...

It's a need that Americans have. We have to periodically convince ourselves that our cars are instruments of liberty by spending days trapped inside them.

Indeed.
If it weren't for fuel costs I'd more then likely be doing it too sometime soon.

I'd offer a place to stay, but my roommate probably wouldn't go for it. If you made it through Bozeman, MT I'd get a beer with ya though.

Haha very true. I used to love road trips.... but after going from la to atl several times I hate to be in the car for more than a couple hours.

You're welcome here in Portland though.

I love you guys.

And Wagh... when did you move to Portland? No... even better-- can you please write down where you've been for the last 3 years, for how long, and what inspired the move?

Thanks.

my school finally closed last June. I applied all over the country just trying to get into somewhere that'd accept my credits... However I got rejections from just about every school I applied to. Most of the school's reasonings were that I didn't have "real" grades. Marylhurst U, Hawaii Pacific, South Dakota State, U Mass @ Amherst were the schools I did get into.. but this Marylhurst place was probably the best. 3 hour classes that are 1 day a week?! Yes Please.
