Pathetic 3D browser

First, this:

Second, the video. They tried so hard to make it look like one of Steve Job's performances that it looks pathetic. Even the guy's facial hair is similar.

Third, the interface. It reminds me of Safari.

Fourth, the performance. This thing is an obvious bandwidth & RAM hog.

And finally, the functionality. Firefox can do the same things in 2D with a few extensions. There's no need to rotate stuff around in 3D.

I have yet to see a 3D interface that makes anything easier with no backdraws.

[edit] And the nail in the coffin: this thing uses the IE engine.

Kind of a cool concept, definitely a waste though.

Wow, what a terrible product. The 3D tabs look like Vista's useless 3d window display...

It looks like surfing on the PS3, only with extra 3D features. Why would you need to rotate your web browser window?

apple are successful because they know how to simplify a concept and make it user friendly. These guys have taken something user friendly and simple and made it confusing and fussy. Automatic fail regardless of the mildly interesting technology behind it.

Don't forget a fanbase whose devotion to Apple makes MLK look like a kid with a coin collection.

That fanbase has kept Apple's Mac market alive, but it really doesn't have much to do with their success in areas such as the iPod.
It's thinking...

It's hard to believe people actually spend time on retarded things like this and can't stop to see how stupid they're making it. I wouldn't call this retarded if it actually looked like I was going to get a bit of convenience out of it. If anything it's more complicated and much less simple then 2D. I just find it funny that they themselfs can't see how dumb it looks.

And 3D wise, it's still 2D..Just with a 3D window. I mean c'mon. :?
