icepick from Dreamcast-Scene just found on Raiden 4 website a poll asking about which console the game should be ported. And one of the options is the Dreamcast!
Since the website is japanese, icepick translated the poll and you can select and write correctly the options.

Tell me this though...was Raiden III made using Renderware? If so, then they would be open to making a multi-system release. If not, it would take extra energy to bring it to the Dreamcast as....if memory serves me right....wasn't it built off of Taito's arcade Type X hardware?...something like 700 mhz processor, etc.?

A taito type X which can actually be up to a 1ghz. Lets face it though raiden 4 wasnt pushing that hardware anywhere at all. Maybe using all of 20% of it.
