playing with GIMP

I was experimenting with GIMP. The swirl is pretty jaggy only because it was on a white background. I added a bevel to the background and swirl and added a shadow to the text. Any critiques?

I didn't. I cut it out from a image I found through Google images.

This looks great, but you should use the swirl from Pixel's art fun pack:

Edit: The link's not working anymore, anyone got a backup ? I can't find mine on my HDD.

Indeed, I have a backup. I also have the original AI file I created for the CSH file. But I'm not sure if either of them work with the Gimp. I'll upload both for you to try.

Actually, I think it looks more like it came out of one of those Play-Doh Fun Factories than it does regular jaggy artwork. It's kind of neat.
