I buy CD-Rs with Taiyo Yuden dye on the bottom because I trade CD-Rs with freaks who are convinced Taiyo Yuden is the only good brand. Fujifilm's CD-Rs have Taiyo Yuden dye on them, but only the ones that say 'Made in Japan' on the label. You can also buy unbranded Taiyo Yudens online (Google the company name) which is cheaper anyway.

I don't buy CD-Rs anymore, only DVD-Rs. And when I do, it is usually cheap ones. Only ever had one bad burn with any, and none of them have failed years after a burn.

I mostly use imation or whatever for cd-rs but have used fujifilm ones in the past.
