I've received free things originating from links on this board before, but this time I'm left wondering what I just ordered. :|

Just ordered it, though i know nothing so far about that OS. I use Ubuntu dapper and enjoy it very much. I switch to windows to play games and a few other things. But thats about it. Though i don't know much about linux either. I depend on message boards and my best friend to explain a lot of stuff to me.

back on topic though, what does this OS have to offer that linux and windows dont already give me? I remember talk about Sun Microsystems al lot in my few computer science classes ive taken in college.

I got it. The case has 3 DVDs. One for the x86 installation, one for an SPARC installation and the other one are utilities and stuff. No written documentation besides a card with URLs.
