well he did become the biggest free agent since hulk hogan. and its like 10 years after the original monday night wars. great time to start a new war. they will be moving to mondays next year. thats the plan for tna to go mondays. november 16th they are gonna have a 2 hour special, and then stay on a 1 hour show for few months.
tna are also in talks with goldberg. spike tv signed goldberg to like a 3 month contract to talk with tna
kurt angle was in talks with the ufc. brock lesner fighting for k1 next year and is being trained by goyce gracie .

one thing wwe will be forced after 2007 to get better.
now tna while runnign with the ball needs to score chris jericho

goldberg is probably better now than before. he has been training for mma fights. was in talks with pride , k1 , and ufc. they been planned on having smoa joe beat goldberg. i think joe and goldberg could work same with angle. but angle was a shock. i was like wtf, holy shit.Matisfaction wrote:Jesus Christ Angle! That is one major signing.
As for Goldberg I don't think that he would be a good fit for TNA. Angle on the other hand, that's gonna be awesome![]()
Angle V's Joe anyone?

don't badmouth russo without knowing the consequences for the real downfall of wCw... bureaucracy, people trying to hold onto their job, standards and practices, the list really can go on and on...
and anyways... there's a "no smut" clause in his new contract, as well he's a born again christian now... ppl seem to forget that he practically saved the WWF(E) back in the day, but no one seems to give the guy his credit.

Ok perhaps I did blame too much on him. But yes I've done some research on WCW and their downfall. I don't like the way everything was running while the guy was around. How much influence he had at the time and if it was all his fault or not, I'm not entirely sure.don't badmouth russo without knowing the consequences for the real downfall of wCw... bureaucracy, people trying to hold onto their job, standards and practices, the list really can go on and on...
Oh and I've seen the match with Hogan/Jarrett and then what Russo had to say afterwards and stuff like that. So yeah, I know it wasn't all him, I just don't have fond memories of his time in WCW.

russo is good for tna unlike his time with wcw. you need to remember vince russo was in charge since the begging of tna tila a little bit after the end of the weekly ppv era.
the hogan ruso thing was a work. it was originally going to be a storyline, kinda like how the brain pillman thing was supposed to go, when eric bisof really fired brian so he could run out in croweds at the competition getting noticed. But brian screwed wcw, because he hated that place anyways and took it has a huge advantage.
eventually aol couldnt afford using hogan as they were putting wcw on the cutting block. hogan was making over 10 million a year guaranteed contract. plus 33-35% of the gate at shows weather he was used or not, just a slong as he was backstage.
actually mondays will be the smartest move. the plan is to do so next year. tna has been trying to go monday. they will rob start once they go 2 hours next year and air 1 hour before raw.Dr. Zoidberg wrote:Signing Angle is cool although signing Russo is shit.
Where's the news about them moving to Mondays next year? That would be a stupid move IMO.

/me was hoping that when bischoff came out to talk about his book last night on raw that he would come back as general manager of raw. I think he did an excellent job before he was fired last december.
Big Show vs. the sandman tonight on ecw; that should be a good match.
I always liked kurt's wrestling style and will surely have a hard time deciding which show to watch should tna move to mondays against raw. As it is, wwe seems contempt in doing the same old story lines and matches; they need competition, damnit. The old monday night war between then wwf and wcw were some of the best moments for both companies.

if they were to go mondays now i would just watch tna flip to wwe during comercials. wwe has been crap for a while. but i'd say within a year after tna goes to mondays, the wwe will have to step up.Smiley wrote:/me was hoping that when bischoff came out to talk about his book last night on raw that he would come back as general manager of raw.
