Virtua Tennis 2 DC vs. Virtua Tennis for PSP

Has anyone played both in order to compare and contrast these 2 games? I just picked up a PSP this week (along with Lumines, Metal Gear Ac!d, and Darkstalkers), and I was thinking about getting this remembering how sweet the Dreamcast games are. Any thoughts?

well I haven't played it yet but it's more then just a dc port I know that much.

It's really good. Plays just like the Dreamcast ones. It doesn't look like they had to make the graphics too much crappier on PSP.

Well the psp is pretty powerful for a handheld and has some tricks up it's sleave I think, also it doesn't have to render things in 640x480 or course. So I think that would help as well.

you know the games on PSP don't feel like games for a hand held I was playing King Kong the setting was dark and everything and just couldn't play the game well on the other hand I played it fine on an X-box.

Same for Prince of Persia for some reason I can't play well on these consoles.

Virtua Tennis 2 = Tennis 2K2 in the US.

The PSP load times for the game are wayyyy slower than on the Dreamcast.
I thought I some how broke the unit, as it was unresponsive for what seemed to be almost a minute before the court and players had loaded.

PSP UMDs do have a way slower loadtime than DC. I was curious and looked it up.

I tried to play Splinter Cell on someone's psp today, I couldn't see shit on the screen. And I don't like the feeling of that thing in my hand, just give me a brick like the regular gameboy
