WTF I GOT CARDED FOR BUYING A MOVIE AT WALMART

i was like wtf they would not sell me the dvd because i didnt have my drivers lisence with me. i'm like 24 1/2 buying a r rated movie intended for 17 and older. i was only buying creepshow damn walmart lol

Yeah, I've been carded for buying Donnie Darko. I don't have an ID so I just walked off. I went to another register with a woman who was clueless as to why she was being asked by the register if I had ID. So she just hit "Yes."

tchoupitoulas street , jeeba. they dont have much right now just grocerys and a few dvds the rest of store isnt open so no video games or anything not like i really buy games at walmart unless i find them cheap ( od thing walmart doesnt always change game prices)

i would have just went to another register but i was really busy and when i went back to the car i didnt feel like going back with id so i just didnt worry

i think the one i had was new and didnt know. but was busy so didnt care really , but i just find it really stupid

Godamn. I didnt know the one at tchoupitoulas was open already. A few guys that work with me at the Kenner walmart are from that store, pre-katrina.

My older sister was carded a few years back while she was buying the mash movie on vhs for my father. I just figured it was because she looks younger, cause I've never been carded, and my younger brother used to buy m-rated games all the time before he turned 18.

I guess since most stores now card you for m-rated games, they are doing the same for movies and such.

anyways i still gte carded going to r rated movies i have friends under 17 that dont though i'm 24 its kinda embarassing in a way but cool in another way. i don't mind looking younger than i am. i have a professor that makes fun of me everytime i let my beard grow saying it not helping i still look to young to be here lol

but i just find the dvd thing stupid

They are, but its' a wal-mart store policy. They "card" you for M-rated games, too (although I used to by them at EB with no trouble)

i was just going in to buya few things in the produce section, then i seen the movie close to the check out. i wished they would of had self check out working

Where do you go to see movies? I've never been carded at the Elmwood or Clearview Palaces or at the Hollywood 8.

sometimes i get carded at elmwood happned twice this year, i dont always but now and then i get some idiot that cards me hollywood 8 never get carded , clearview never, the prytania or canal place landmark cinima i never did get carded once in chalmette when friends and i went to rocky horror picture show last summer

To be honest, I'm glad they are now carding. I thought it was the stupidest thing in the world when we were required to card for M-rated games at Target but not for R-rated movies. That was back in 2001. Now everywhere around here cards for both.

Of course, Target also carded for spraypaint, which I thought was a bit odd.
