Do you smoke?

Post by CupNoodle »

Purely for curiosity's sake. Please don't make posts like "OMG SMOKING IS DUMB AND GORSS UR DUM AN DGROSSO!

I am a regular smoker. My one and only brand is American Spirit.

I did on and off for a couple years, but I haven't had a smoke in about 3 years.

I don't. It's bad for you.

... and it never really appealed to me in the first place.

I tried some hand-rolled American Spirit. I liked it.

I mostly smoke Djarum Vanilla and Djarum Black kreteks, or clove cigarettes.

While I love them (and especially enjoy the euphoria the cloves create), I don't want to be a smoker... I smoke a kretek somewhere between every other day and every day. Before Katrina I used to smoke often with Jeeba, and a few times I got cravings, but after Katrina I got over it because I didn't have an ID or transportation to get cigarettes, and I was always around my parents. I smoke now but I never get cravings or feel the need to smoke so I'm okay... for now. Though I know dangling on the fence like this will probably just make me turn into a smoker one day.

On occasion. I've only smoked one entire ciggarette before because I was stressed out at work during the holidays.. but that was a few years back.

I try NOT to buy cigars for myself. When I do, I just let them burn and smoke them as I see fit.. I really try to not smoke very much at all. It's pretty damn relaxing though. If I drink, I usually smoke a little bit but both are a rarity for me.

Smoke the wacky tobaccy from time to time but today I have a sore throat and have decided to cut back pretty heavily. Everyone at work has the kennel-cough. Oh boy.

Nope...My sister-in-law does enough smoking/ boozing for my family..and has been in and out of half-way houses for a couple years now.

She's normally a biatcj..but when she's drunk, she's even more of one...

My father smoked for about 20 years before he quit to settle down and have kids....I still miss him. :( :( :(

I used to smoke Du Maurier kings when I was in highschool. Now I smoke Colts Rum and Wine or Captain Black Sweets and occasionally a Montecristo cigar. If I'm planning on partying, I'll call my cousin to hook me up with a few Cohibas.

|darc| how much do those Djarums cost? I'd like to try some of the Vanilles.

When my friend comes over I will smoke a camel light or camel turkish silver with him. The odd thing is I enjoy puffing on them, but I hate the smell of cig smoke indoors.

I love those backwoods cigars, but Im usually too cheap to buy them (liek $4 for 6 of them).

At Tinder Box, they're about $6-something, but at a tobacco shop called Mary Jane's Emporium in the French Quarter I can get them for a little under $5 after tax. Considering Djarums are packed tighter and burn slower, they're worth the money.

Same with American Spirits. Those things last me at least three days. Sometimes I'll refry them because one is just too much for a 10 minute break at work.

Never have, never will.

To be honest, I couldn't if I wanted to; I have really bad allergies, and being around smoke for any period of time will cause me to develop a serious migraine.
