One day about a year ago I got really, really sick. So sick to the point where I couldn't move from the couch. With nothing else to do but lay on the couch, I started watching my Cowboy Bebop box set that I had recently purchased. I started with the first episode and worked my way through the entire series in one day.
Anyway, it's a good anime, and defintately better than most. Most of the shows stand well on their own, so if you are a person that just watches anime on TV, and doesn't care about a continuing story, this is great to watch. Some episodes do connect to one another, but not as much as some other animes. Its worth a watch, and is a show you don't have to feel bad about if you miss an episode or two.

Missing most episodes isn't too bad. There's about 5 in the series that are truely important, and the 2 middle and 2 end episodes are continuations. At least from what I can remember. It's been over a year since I watched it all.

Thanks for making this thread Freeze
Normally I don't watch tv at all, only the news when I have the time and don't have anything else to do. I can't stand MTV/TMF anyways because of the music. I've heard quite a few good things about Cowboy Bebop so I'll make sure I don't miss it.

Thanks for the clear spoiler tags...
Perhaps it's a good idea to leave some space blank next time or put it in an undreadable tiny font (so that ppl can copy/paste it to notepad or something)

Uhm, yeah... I see you edited your post nowneoak wrote:What, you read it?
Nevermind, I'll be happy just as long as you don't give me Berserk spoilers
Hopefully I'll forget what I read when I'm watching the show.
Freeze, check your pm box, we pmd in Dutch some time ago Other than that, you could've seen it underneath my avatar.
I'm from Polsbroek, it's in the middle of nowhere, only 2000 inhabitants :p It's near Schoonhoven and Lopik. On the border between Zuid Holland and Utrecht.
It's good to know I'm not the only one in Holland who's interested in DC.

It's cool
I just happen to read fast so spoilers wrapped up in tags in a way like you did before the edit won't prevent most ppl from reading it I think.
Let's get this back on topic.
I think it's nice to see a decent anime on tv here, all we got before was Dragonball Z and Pok?mon
I also saw a few episodes of Gundam Wing, which was very interesting, but it was all shown on kids' shows, at the wrong time of day.

I just saw the first episode.
My first impression was WTF?!?!
Mainly because of its setting. I'm already looking forward to next episode because I love the style of this one.
Btw, I'm glad I could hear the japanese voices, but I regret there are dutch subtitles. I prefer to read in English. I'm not used to hearing japanese and reading dutch at the same time. Having to read dutch draws my attention more than having to read english. In the beginning I noticed how I was translating the dutch sentences to English

My only spoiler is that you shouldn't watch the last 3 episodes of that series. The series is great, but what happens in the last 3 episodes pretty much ruined the series for me. All I will say is that if you plan to finish the series, plan to start tracking down the manga.Cid Highwind wrote:Nevermind, I'll be happy just as long as you don't give me Berserk spoilers
