Changing DC background

Hey, I know that this is prolly off-topic, but if any of you own Puyo Pop Fever (Puyo Puyo Fever in Japan) for the dreamcast, you know that you can choose from several Puyo designs for you dreamcast main menu. The game saves a file onto your VMU so that when you boot up the system and the slots are checked, it comes across this file and changes your background. Anyways, is it possible to create a program that'll allow you to use custom pictures for your Dreamcast's Menu? If not, nevermind. I just thought it would be cool.

Speud's VMU tool. I also found a PVR BG tutorial someplace. I forget where.

Thanks, but do you happen to have any links? You say you found a tutorial somewhere? Well, if anyone can post a link, it would be a great help. I'm just a little sick of only have different colored blobs as my DC background. I really want to add a sonic pic or something. Oh well...
