Stupidest lie someones told you about a game

Got this idea from another board, and besides me and my brother have had our share of people tell us things that dont exist in a game.

1,Someone told me the cookie monster was the guy on fire in the back of the pit 2 in Mortal Kombat 2.

2.-the blood code was for the SNES version of mortal kombat.

ANyone ever tell you such crap lies about a game(s)?

3. there are more than 120 stars in mario 64 and theres a secret world and stuff. it was in the 5th grade so i forget the details

something about infinite mews and mewtwos in pokemon blue&red (it involved the space shuttle in the museum), and mew's truck. oh, then there's the naked chick in ther new york level of twisted metal 2.

I remember I bsed my friend that in Mario 64 you can jump into the volcano and go to a secret world...thinking he'd die and I'd get my turn...it turned out you reall did go to a different world

I think the worst one I ever belived was that you could fight ryu and kens master in SFII if you got a perfect on every fight.

You kind of could, maybe I'm wrong but in one of the versions you could fight Akuma in SF2 who was somehow related to Ryu and Ken's master, I know he killed him, but I think he was his brotheer or some shyt.

The Sonic Chao in PSO.

Plus all the other numerous lies people told about that game. "Oh, a Sonic Team member came in and told me you have to raise a Chao with nothing by star atomizers until he's level 200!"

I used to frequent the PSOW forums so I'd hear all of this stuff.

i got infinite mews and nonames. it had to do with a certain tile on some island that messed up the odds. i ended up completely messing up my game by duplicating items and fighting with nonames. although this was after i already had around 100 hours in it, had beaten the league about 30 times and had my 6 pokemon team (charizard, blastoise, venusaur, alakazam, mewtwo and... i can't remember =P) up to level 100s.

In the Koopa Castle track of Mario Kart 64, if you made a certain jump off the track and landed in the lava at a certain point, a naked picture of Jenny McCarthy would come on screen. I think my friends and I tried to pull that one off for a good week or so before we just decided it was probably a big lie.

When Super Smash Bros. first debuted on the 64, my friend used to say that if you did a certain code you could play as Sonic in the game!! What a load.

I also recall being told of a naked code for Laura Craft in the Tomb Raider game for the psx.

And up until Nintendo's announcement of the revo all over the net they were saying that Nintendo was going the way of Sega and leaving the hardware business to go third-party. Considering that for the most part that only Nintendo's titles sell while most third part titles collect dust on the shelve, I assumed it was true. I even sent Nintendo a lettter asking if it was true, or false.
