I hadn't time to test many TZX files so I cannot say whether there are problems with some tapes or particular loaders.
Feedback / bugs report welcome !
Have fun ...
_tyrell_
ps: be patient, TZX are *very* slow to load

Those of ancient persuasion like me will be familiar with long waits for Speccy games to load, fortunatly with this it might not fail like the old days just as the game was almost finished, surprised I didnt go bald before 10 really all things considered

Actually you could be surprised! I've tried to load some badly made TZX files on emulators in the past only to be presented with the dreaded "R Tape Loading Error"!
Doesn't happen very often though unlike my old tape collection!

That's good,
tyrell .
I'm not a big fan of the Spectrum but all news improvements in the emulators are always welcome.
Keep the good work.
See ya.

Thanks for the update tyrell I glad you managed to add support for TZX files.
Keep up the excellent work with this beautiful emulator brings back fond memories of my youth playing those old games.

No problem ! I'm doing updates when I have some time to do it ... maybe it'll take several years to have a correct emu but who cares
Next steps : Fix SLT support, use BBA to load games online, add a "tape deck" to navigate through TZX levels, ...

Us Speccy owners are well used to long waits before we can play so I doubt anyone will mind the wait

DARKGATE> No sorry, the bilinear filtering, which relies on PVR rendering, has not been activated. Did you tried to load some tzx ? Are they working ?

Not a bad idea but only some games are really freeware, for example the Gremlin's Graphics ones. Only those can be put freely on a cd for distribution.
