Source Changes & Demo
Unfortunately this is DOS only at the moment, I wanted to test my source changes before applying them to the DC source.
Source changes include:
Certain enemies are no longer grabbable
2 different play modes: Mode 1 - Payers CAN'T attack each other & Mode 2 - Players CAN attack each other (check under options)
Modified HP bar

I looked at possibly adding four-player mode but realized that would've been beyond my ability at this point.
I forgot to mention I added two new subtypes
The "notgrab" for ungrabbable enemies - actually did mention this but eh
and "arrow" which is like the bike, except it "flies" in one direction then "dies" off screen - as if an arrow is shot at the players.

I haven't decided if I'll have any secret characters If I do there'll probably be 2 (one for each player). There will be 5 standard character to choose from at the start so there shouldn't be any need for the same characters anyway.
Not to mention I feel having "twins" run around would take away from the story (as the series it's based off of has no "twins").

Anything specific? I made the changes I knew I wanted (which is why there is no same player option) implemented for my mod, perhaps other people's ideas would be a nice addition.vicviper74 wrote:man i wish you did some onther neat too but its still a great accomplishment

Well all new mods done by king herb and kungpow. and Zenmanflying are using an edited pal of 256 colors edited by Mr. zenman. I wish I could go back and do my xmen the same way but that would take a very long time. and its to late to restore those colors lost in translation so go get the xmen vs streeetfighter mod or megaman x mod and take the pallete its well made. So peace seeya!!

if you use Photoshop to save your your gifs it's rather easy to edit the pallete as needed just in the save/load palette screen select a close or unused color then go over to your picture and click the color that you want it replaced with. After rereading that I think I made it sound complicated! - yes my mod uses an edited palette also.
