dcrpg update

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

dcrpg update

Post by cehbab »

hello ppl out the in dc land.

just a quick note to say the project is not dead yet.
progress has been made, and a demo may be out soon if all goes to plan.
no music or effort has been put into mapping yet, so dont worry about the crappy looking terrain and scenery

anyways, heres a quick screenshot, it runs much quicker than 19fps on the dc :D

the terrain that we want may actually be possible with this new map format, so heres hoping a release gets out the door in the not too distant future.

merry christmas :)

That's awesome guys!!

Next semester, if I don't have a freakin heavy courseload then maybe I can help with some of the 3d stuff. I've never used 3ds for video games, but my teacher will show me... plus I'm learning what I can from home.

I suppose that any help is better than no help. I'll do everything that I can from my end, if there is anything. This project sounds very promising. And I'm overly stoked about it still being alive. :)

I bet my uncle would do it if you allowed advertisements on his site. I think his site now is about internet service and some other stuff so in other words legal non porn stuff  .

The project is looking absolutely beautiful! Awesome work; I can't wait to see how it improves :D
Freedom comes at a price... and that price is one golden pie. or fifteen silver pies and a voucher for 50p off your next golden pie purchase.
