How long have you been a gamer?

I started with Mario Land on my borther's Gameboy when I was 3, and then I got my NES on my fourth birthday.

I've been a gamer for twelve years.

I think the first computer game I ever played was Oregon Trail back when I was 8, and the first console game I played was Super Mario when I was 11. So, I guess I've been a gamer for 18 years

I've had NES since I was 4 or so, and got a gameboy for my preschool graduation. I wouldn't really even call myself a "gamer", though. I haven't been into "gaming" for years now. Nothing good to play.

I got into gaming when i was prettey young, although not as young as you guys! Cant quite remember the first game i played, but it was most likely something like "Bats" (vertical scrollingshooter for dos) or doom 2. So i've probably benn playing since about 91/92 which would mean i have been gaming for 4-5 years.

I agree.

The big three just isn't offering us much, I only buy like 4 or 5 console games per year nowadays.

I had an Atari at about 4, which I got rid of after ten days (it was pretty awful), and then just a month or so after my fifth birthday I had a Mega Drive for Christmas.
