Link sucks.

I got myself my very own personal Gamecube and some games and blah blah blah.

But now I want to break the whole stupid thing.

I've been waiting for Soul Calibur 2 like all year... I've been so excited about it...

But they are really playing up the Link special character for the Gamecube version. And I hate Link! He's such a dork compared to the other Soul Calibur characters! And he's all over the stupid box! And the preordered one even comes with a stupid Link t-shirt and poster! I'm gonna puke! And cry! And kill everyone!!!

Spawn is such a cooler character than Link will ever be. My joy of Soul Calibur 2 will be ruined everytime I have to look at stupid Link on the box. I would rather have a Soul Calibur tshirt without special characters, but jeeze, a Spawn tshirt is a billion times better than a stupid tshirt with a guy wearing a green hat and tights.

I'd rather play it on the bulky Xbox controllers and have a huge Xbox by my TV and have to put up with Microsoft hating than have to have stupid dumb-ass Link in my Soul Calibur.

Yeah, but I can't. I'm still holding out for Animal Crossing Online (I can hope!).

I just wish Link wasn't such a dork-ass. Compare:

At least the Xbox box downplays Spawn and has a shirt with actual Soul Calibur characters... not stupid Link!

I want to shoot the people Nintendo/Namco assumed would go out and say "OMG!!! I NEED TO BUY A GAMECUBE AND THIS GAME!!! IT'S GOT LINK ON IT!!! AND THEY TRIED TO MAKE HIM NOT LOOK LIKE A TOTAL ASS DORK!!!"

The thing is, apperently spawn is the worst of the three, and Link isnt a dork, hes had more decent games with him than the other too by far.

Um, how could I have? The game doesn't come out until August 27th, and he's not in the arcade version.

I like the Zelda games. I really do. Wind Waker is simply breathtaking. And I like to play Link in that game. But...

Alongside the likes of Mitsurugi, Kilik, Yun Sung, etc... he just looks like a total fricken' nerd! He has no business in a Soul Calibur game. It's the dumbest idea I've ever seen. He doesn't fit, he doesn't look like he fits, and I can't believe people actually want him in the game. It just mars the entire mood of the game for me. Blegh!

Link is practically the only wholy-Nintendo-owned character who wields a sword. Any others simply aren't "flagship" enough, and there's no way Nintendo would miss an opportunity to include one of their flagship (aka. flogging-the-dead-horse) characters.

Japanese GC owners are probably having a massive party in Tokyo to celebrate Link being in another game... right?

I had no idea they were going to hype Link's cameo in this game up so much... I mean, the fact that he's the main char on the cover is ridiculous.

Erm... Nintendo's main character is an Italian in blue overalls running through pipes buy that doesn't mean he isn't cool.
