Hey, it's you!!!!! Ahh I'm glad to hear that you're still kicking in the dc scene. Well, even if you're just checking up or something.ReGex wrote:Yeah... I haven't updated FrNES in over a year now.. I was hoping someone would fully reverse the DSP in the DC by now, which would help the sound emulation issue considerably. Anyways, I may do an update to FrNES someday, but I have a game project that's gonna be built first.

You don't know me but I've emailed you in the past, never got a response though. I'd just like to thank you again for your wonderful emu. I don't quite remember what I wrote before, and I'm not even sure if you read it or not but yeah... just thought I'd let you know how thankful I am for your emulator!
I brought my Dreamcast over to my dad's house once and boy, did we ever have a great time! Me, my two brothers, my uncle and dad were all blown away. Nostalgia was present from night until early morning. I'm not close to my dad at all but this really brought us closer together, and I really think that I have you to thank for that.
Take care and God Bless.

Hey Skater_dusto,
Yeah, I'm still kickin' (although I haven't really had enough time to do any significant hobby coding in the last year), but I'm hoping to be done my degree in the next month or so. I'm really glad that you had some fun with FrNES, it really makes me feel good to hear that there are some people out there that have!

If this topic turning out to be a praise for FrNES I must add something as well. I know back in the day it was released that it always was compared with NesterDC. People where telling that NesterDC was better, even you know they didn't try FrNES. I hate(d) that comparisation and I always tried to defend FrNES. I still think you must see them apart of each other.
And still today FrNES has a unique flexible menu system what I still have to see in other emu's. Go try it (download a premade image with pd-roms at DC Evolution).
