democracy?
So DCEMU alum how does it feel to witeness American democracy die? Didnt come here to be political but deeply bothered by the events of this week. Figured I would ask something of meaning as I take my exit from the forum.

Of course, that's the popular vote, which means it's completely irrelevant to how the 50 states choose the president of their union.

Its not. A large number is states have rules that electors must vote the same way their voting block votes. If not they can be removed or disciplined. The republican idea that the election was stolen is mainly based on stolen popular votes. So my reply was apt on addressing the core 'stolen election' assumption.

Well, I'm not gonna defend any "election is stolen" arguments as I haven't personally seen any convincing evidence thus far.I.M.
