ReviveDC Project DVD Covers
Hey everyone,
I decided to create DVD covers for my whole collection (which, I'm still in the process) when I decided that it would be cool to share my work with the scene, and try to create some other stuff DC related in the process. Please see this thread for more info. I've decided to call it the ReviveDC project.
Here's the PhotoBucket where I'll be posting all the covers I've made.
I really enjoy doing this, so, if there's a cover that you'd like, request it and I'll be glad to do it for you!
Covers currently available on the Photobucket:
Aero Fighters 2 (NEO4ALL)
Airforce Delta
Bangai-O
Blue Stinger
Chu Chu Rocket
Daytona USA
Dead or Alive 2
Death Crimson OX
Dino Crisis
DreamSNES
Elemental Gimmick Gear
Evolution: The World of Sacred Device
Expendable
F355 Challenge
Gundam Battle Online
House of the Dead 2
Ikaruga
Industrial Spy Operation Espionage
Jet Grind Radio
The King Of Fighters 95 (NEO4ALL)
Metal Slug (NEO4ALL)
Metal Slug 2 (NEO4ALL)
Metal Slug X (AES4ALL)
NFL 2K
NFL 2K1
NHL 2K
Outtrigger
Phantasy Star Online
Phantasy Star Online Version 2
Rayman 2- The Great Escape
Ready 2 Rumble Boxing
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Rippin' Riders
Samurai Shodown II (NEO4ALL)
Sega GT
Seaman
Sega Rally 2: Sega Rally Championship
Shenmue
Slave Zero
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2
SoulCalibur
Space Channel 5
Space Channel 5 Part 2
Spider-Man
StarLancer
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
Trick Style
Vanishing Point
Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense
Virtua Fighter 3TB
Virtua Tennis
Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram (Japan version w/online multiplayer)
Web Browser 2.0
Zombie Revenge
My goal with this was to bring a kind of solid theme to my DC collection, as opposed to having games from Japan, white US games, black US games, and so on. I personally think these covers go best on white DVD cases, and I indeed designed them for white DVD cases.
If the ReviveDC Project is successful enough, I'll go back and create two more color schemes so that not everyone is stuck with a theme that they might dislike.
Also: I've modified a template that I found on DCemu.co.uk in a very old thread, which I couldn't find upon a second search. If I've modified your template and you would like credit, please let me know!
Note: I'm having a hard time remembering to come here and update (obviously), so, I'm sure there's covers there that aren't on the list. Make sure to take a look.

Re: ReviveDC Project DVD Covers
Sure, I'll take a look and see what there is on the net as far as being high res enough goes. If I can't find anything, would you possibly be able to upload some scans?Deth2k7 wrote:I really like those covers. How about doing Starlancer?
EDIT:
I looked everywhere that I usually get high res enough stuff to use for a cover and I couldn't find anything. At thecoverproject.net they have about 4 different variations on a Starlancer DVD cover there. If you don't like the templates that those have, I suppose I could edit them and put them into my template.
EDIT AGAIN:
Found some ok resolution stuff. Looks like when it's printed it'll have a slightly blurry look to it, but, it won't be terribly pixelated or anything. It's on the Photobucket! Enjoy!

Re: ReviveDC Project DVD Covers
I know I will have some requests, but I need to get some sleep before work. Then I'll look at my game list and let you know.

Re: ReviveDC Project DVD Covers
Could you do anything for the Dreamcast ScummVM, like, Maniac Mansion, or The Secret of Monkey Island?

Sure, I'll definitely look into it and see if there's any usable high res stuff around.stryfe23 wrote:Could you do anything for the Dreamcast ScummVM, like, Maniac Mansion, or The Secret of Monkey Island?
