Yep, BoneyCork and Juddwack.
In b4 someone says "I'll believe linlinlol & leileilol are Chinese if they're dead" and leileilol replies with an unfunny Darkstalkers joke.

Im in China. Heard the earthquake was pretty bad, but I'm up in the North East so felt nothing here. All is well, and today I bought 3 light bulbs, a caramel macchiato and a tin of house paint.

Re: Are our members in China okay?
It's great. I'm getting paid enough money to live a fantastic life out here - much better than I could do at 21-years-old in the UK. Got a lovely girlfriend, a huge apartment, eating out at restaurants every night, 5mins walk from a gorgeous beach, w hours drive from Beijing, do an easy and enjoyable job, fantastic weather, and zero financial burdens.
In my heart I would really like to settle down here. Even if I don't, I doubt I will ever return to live in the UK. I spent years living in the UK wanting to leave, but my main concern was the "grass is always greener on the other side" effect. Still, I left and found that not to be the case: I really am happier outside England.

No, leilei is actually a guy who programs QuakeC. Linlin is a stupid character account he made pretending to have a sister.AgentGreen wrote:I thought linlin and leilei were character accounts?

Also, OpenBoR developer utunnels does live in China (although he hasn't posted yet), and Pascal Bosquiat (aka Kroustibat, the guy behind SMSplusDC) lived there for a while.|darc| wrote:BoneyCork, JuddWack (don't know if he's still in China), linlinlol, and leileilol.
I don't know much about China at all. Please tell me more.BoneyCork wrote:It's great. Some friends of mine claim that people would be poor, working conditions horrible and democracy non-existent, but of course they're basing their claims entirely on what the German media says. I don't trust the media at all but I am curious: How much truth is to that ? What are your impressions on how people live in China ?
Insane homebrew collector.

UK DCfags beery meetup needs to happen at some point, I had a drink with Mat a while back and it was a laugh.Hasney wrote:But what about the oppertunity of bumping into me when I'm out in Manchester and you're all like "Are you that Hasney guy from some Dreamcast website?" and I'm all like "Yeah!" and then we leave each other all awkwardly because we accidentally had a 2 man convention for an emulation site of a dead console, but forever keep that moment in our hearts?BoneyCork wrote:It's great.
