the times logged on my current install are: 5, 42, 138.

Between the two installs though, I know that I passed the 100 second mark at one point. One of the most exhilarating moments in gaming for me, which surprised me as I didn't expect it to be so much so.

This was, by the way, the result of playing for a a few hours a day every day for a few weeks. I realized it was costing me my sanity, so I stopped =P.

edit: why do you have three times btw? on mine it's Beginner, Intermediate, Expert , not advanced.

They were just my top 3 for those times. I'm on Vista now, so I guess they changed the names.

My very, very first time ever playing minesweeper was in junior high. We were in homeroom, which was one of the few rooms that actually had a computer in it. There were a group of people that absolutely were obsessed with minesweeper, and eventually my interest was piqued enough to ask them to let me try a game. I had them set it to beginner and they told me all the rules. Then they hit start and said to go ahead and click any of the squares. I clicked one square, and the game was won. I had a time of 1 second. So I turned to them and said, "now what?" I just remember turning around and all three people standing behind me had their jaws dropped. One finally said, "you won." So I said, "that's it? How stupid," and just walked away. Suddenly I became some kind of minesweeper legend with the 1 second minesweeper score, but all I can remember is thinking what a dumb game that was.

The version I played was back on win 3.1 days. So I don't know. I need to find it because I liked it.
