Looks great. The only thing not perfect would be that woman I think, but I am not sure what's wrong exactly.

Her tail is detached from the body.

Well, it's the game's style, she's kinda "butt-less" like that. So it's hard to make a realistic junction of rear and tail.

I think one thing that makes the whole piece feel less organic is the overuse of gradients. Many of the objects have this almost cutout feel to them because the gradients cause each piece to appear as if they are on a different layer. And while there are some good use of gradients for shadows, like the girl's elbow and her ears, others look like pieces of construction paper layered on top of each other, like Rayman's shoes.

I like it, I just think that it's the woman's face that's not perfect (I don't know the game, so I don't know how she actually looks like).

If you could add "GOLDEN AXE" or better: "GOLDEN AXE REMAKE" it would be great.

Can do. But see, it's pointless to say the resolution you want if you don't say the size you want.

Want it with or without the "depth" of the original? It was made to look statue-like, but it would look cool as if it was painted with blood.

I'd keep the depth. The blood thing looks so...flat. I would want it to match the original.

Sure, why not. - If Stormwatch does the blood thing, you could do the stone / statue / depth version.

There would be plenty of places where your work could be used - newsposts, websites carrying the GAR download, covers, splash screens, ...

If the goal is to replicate the original precisely, I suppose the statue is the way to go... but I thought this was turning out pretty good.

As mentioned there would be plenty of places to use a Golden Axe Remake banner, so even if I end up using Mel's for the covers, yours definitely wouldn't be for nothing.
